At Southend we've partnered with Starr Strength to deliver a well rounded and periodised strength, cardio, gymnastics and olympic lifting program that's scalable to any level of athlete. Our coaches are trained to instruct a complete beginner all the way up to an advanced athlete and can assist in selecting the best approach to our daily program to suit you.
You're welcome to trial a class to see our programming style and ofcourse we can chat you through any further detail you need : )
The majority of our classes are Crossfit, but we also offer 2 olympic lifting specific classes per week, as well as 1 gymnastics specific class. Check out our class schedule via the link below.
CLASS BREAKDOWN:
CROSSFIT: A combination of low and high intensity conditioning, strength and olympic lifting progressions as well as gymnastics and general skill development. Classes are capped at 20 people so you get plenty of attention when needed from one of our coaches:)
OLYMPIC LIFTING: Run by our coach Zoe (ranked 2nd in Australia in her weightclass) guides all levels from complete beginner to expert, through technique and strength progressions. Allowing you to develop skills outside the intensity of a class scenario.
GYMNASTICS: Run by our coach Lucas, slowing down progressions of various gymnastics skills to allow more specific development outside of the class setting.
